WHAT IS NIIRA
NIIRA is a unique audiovisual perception device. It takes the form of glasses that are connected to an Image Processing Unit, which is about the size of a Smartphone, although a bit thicker.
The glasses part has an integrated camera that records the 3D environment in real time, without delay. And that spatial data is converted into sound. It's a sensory technology, so it's hard to put words to it, but it's incredibly easy to use.
In a few days of use you will be able to distinguish through sound the spaces and obstacles around you. With more practice you will be able to perceive details you can't even imagine. The more you train, the richer and more detailed your environment will be. You set the limit.
Plus, NIIRA is super smart. It can describe the place where you are, or the objects that are there. And you can talk to him to ask for more details. It will be your inseparable companion.

CONVENIENT CONTROL
We present WiCon, (Wireless Controller), a bluetooth ring that allows you to operate the NIIRA functions as a remote control. Convenient and small, it allows the use of the system without having to touch the Processing Unit.
It is very convenient (and safe) to leave the unit in your bag or backpack, and just enjoy. Its USB rechargeable battery allows it to operate for more than a month between recharges.
WiCon MAX is the big brother of WiCon. Larger and more robust, it is designed with a strap that allows it to be securely attached to your cane or your guide dog's harness.
It is resistant to rain and dust, so you don't have to worry when you go out exploring and the weather is bad.
