Today we share sad news.
Christen H. Nielsen, a key person in Eyesynth and in our lives, has passed away. He has been many things to us: friend, teacher, advisor and also investor.
It all started when we approached Ortofon to develop bone conduction audio. Christen, CEO of the company was immediately interested in participating. His interest in social technology and his love for Spain (he always referred to it as his ‘patria chica’ – second homeland – with his impeccable way of expressing himself in Spanish) marked the future of Eyesynth.
A successful entrepreneur, patron of humanitarian causes and insatiable challenge solver, he joined Eyesynth as a partner at a very complex and difficult time for the company, during the pandemic. Since then, together with his son Klaus, they have been involved in the development and growth of Eyesynth. His vision and experience have been key to taking the right path and making the right decisions.
We will miss his keen sense of humor, his ability to stay focused when the going got tough, his enormous patience, and ultimately, his friendship. We send our condolences and love to his family and friends.
Now, together with Klaus, we will carry forward the present and future of Eyesynth, using everything we have learned with him and honoring his memory.
Thank you, friend, and farewell.
