At Eyesynth we keep moving forward to bring you an increasingly personalized, powerful and intuitive experience. After months of development and testing, today we are proud to present NIIRA OS 1.5, the most advanced version of our operating system.
This update brings important improvements that reinforce NIIRA’s mission: to offer greater autonomy, understanding of the environment and ease of use for visually impaired people. These are some of the main new features:
New Customization Menu.
Now you can customize your NIIRA experience like never before:
- Choose your language
- Adjust perception distances
- Modify speech speed
- Activate abbreviated messages
- Reset the system when you need it
Volume and Hearing Balance Adjustments
We have added specific volume and balance controls so you can adapt the sound according to your hearing needs, in case you have different hearing in each ear.
New: Updated Tutorials
We have revamped the tutorials to include all new features. A short press on the “A” key will take you directly to them to learn how to get the most out of NIIRA.
New Artificial Intelligence Engine
NIIRA is now smarter than ever. With just one gesture, it can take a picture of the environment and describe it to you in detail.
Currently, this function specializes in describing general scenes and clothing, and will gradually be expanded to new types of descriptions.
Important: This function requires Internet connection, either by Wi-Fi or by sharing data from your smartphone.
Beta: Bluetooth Multimedia Connection
One of the most awaited features is now in beta! You can connect your cell phone via Bluetooth and listen to voice messages, music, radio or GPS instructions directly through your NIIRA. A new way to unify accessibility and entertainment.
