Today is a historic day for Eyesynth, and we want to share it with all of you: we have started delivering the first NIIRA units to our users. This milestone marks the beginning of a new era in space perception for visually impaired people. After nine years of research, development, testing, learning and breakthroughs, the dream that drove us from day one has become a reality.

NIIRA is not just a device. It is the result of thousands of hours of work, conversations with users, engineers, designers and accessibility experts. It is a unique audiovisual perception system that converts the space around us into three-dimensional sound. Thanks to its sensory technology, users can detect obstacles – including those that a cane or guide dog cannot perceive, such as branches, awnings or overhead signs – up to five meters in advance.

The system consists of glasses with an integrated 3D camera and a portable processing unit, designed to be intuitive, comfortable and easy to use right from the start. With a few days of practice, the user begins to identify shapes, depths and spatial structures through sound. And the most exciting thing: the more you use it, the more accurate and richer that sound world becomes.

This launch would not have been possible without the constant support of our community, our partners, institutions and above all, the users who have trusted us throughout this journey. To all of you, thank you. This is just the beginning.

We continue working with enthusiasm and commitment so that NIIRA reaches all the people who can benefit from this technology. The future of accessibility has begun.
